To relieve a child's anxiety is to give them consistency. It's consistency in their daytime routine. It's consistency in knowing that they're loved.

And let's remember, children need sleep. Children need healthy food. Junk food often makes things a lot worse. Sugar does rile children up.

And get them plenty of exercise. Exercise is the best stress relief. The most stressful thing for a child is unpredictability. By giving them a predictable, loving, caring environment, stress will naturally not be there.
