Who should not take KG-Tussin Oral?
The following conditions are contraindicated with this drug. Check with your physician if you have any of the following:
Conditions:
- overactive thyroid gland
- diabetes
- high blood pressure
- significant uncontrolled high blood pressure
- severe disease of the arteries of the heart
- enlarged prostate
- an inability to completely empty the bladder
- overactive thyroid gland
- closed angle glaucoma
- high blood pressure
- stenosing peptic ulcer
- blockage of the stomach or intestine
- blockage of the urinary bladder
- an inability to completely empty the bladder
- chronic obstructive pulmonary disease
- chronic idiopathic constipation
- systemic mastocytosis
- a brain tumor
- untreated decreased level of thyroid hormones
- a condition where the adrenal glands produce less hormones called Addison's disease
- decreased function of the adrenal gland
- dehydration
- psychosis caused by sudden alcohol withdrawal
- toxic psychosis
- alcohol intoxication
- drug abuse
- cor pulmonale
- low blood pressure
- asthma attack
- decreased lung function
- stomach or intestinal tract operation
- inflammatory bowel disease
- paralysis of the intestines
- constipation
- severe liver disease
- disease of the gallbladder
- spasm of a bile duct tract
- acute inflammation of the pancreas
- decreased kidney function
- narrowing of the tube that empties urine from the bladder
- coma
- seizures
- sleep apnea
- a condition where the body is unable to maintain adequate blood flow called shock
- an increase of carbon dioxide in the blood
- weakened patient
- high pressure within the skull
- intense abdominal pain
- inherited dysfunction of autonomic nerve function
- morbid obesity
- worsening chronic obstructive pulmonary disease
- history of opioid overdose
