In the US, remdesivir is approved by the FDA to treat coronavirus infection, also known as COVID-19, for certain patients who are in the hospital. In Canada, remdesivir has not been approved by Health Canada for general use. However, Health Canada is allowing remdesivir to be used in human studies and for conditional use in hospitalized patients. How to use Veklury 100 Mg/20 Ml (5 Mg/Ml) IV Soln (EUA)(For Pts 40 Kg Or More) Not Applicable

Remdesivir is given by injection into a vein usually once daily for 5 to 10 days. It is infused over a period ranging from 30 minutes to 2 hours.

The length of treatment depends on your medical condition, response to treatment, and the study guidelines.
