If you are an adult over 60
- management or monitoring precaution: General-Start at lower dosage of 50 mg given two times per day. Cardiovascular-Risk for orthostatic hypotension in the elderly which increases fall risk.
Giving Nefazodone HCL to a child under 12
- Severe Precaution: Possible increased suicidal ideation and attempt with underlying major depression.
