Neuro/Psych-Peripheral neuropathy risk particularly with long term UTI suppression and renal dysfunction. Pulmonary-Interstitial pneumonitis/fibrosis risk. Hepatic-Case reports of severe hepatotoxicity in the elderly on long term UTI suppressive therapy.

  • Severe Precaution: May cause hemolytic anemia in neonates under 1 month of age.
