Who should not take Cisplatin Vial?

The following conditions are contraindicated with this drug. Check with your physician if you have any of the following:

  • low amount of magnesium in the blood
  • low amount of calcium in the blood
  • low amount of sodium in the blood
  • low amount of potassium in the blood
  • Syndrome characterized by Anemia and Renal Failure
  • Anemia
  • Decreased Blood Platelets
  • decreased white blood cells
  • peripheral neuropathy
  • Sudden Blindness and Pain Upon Moving the Eye
  • Toxicity to Organs of Hearing
  • hearing loss
  • heart attack
  • lung embolism
  • stroke
  • Inflammation of Arteries that Carry Blood in the Brain
  • Occasional Numbness
  • Prickling
  • or Tingling of Fingers and Toes
  • blood clot in a deep vein of the extremities
  • Thrombotic Thrombocytopenic Purpura
  • kidney disease with reduction in kidney function
  • Feel Like Throwing Up
  • Throwing Up
  • High Amount of Uric Acid in the Blood
  • pregnancy
  • a mother who is producing milk and breastfeeding
  • thiopurine S-methyltransferase deficiency
  • Brain-Capillary Leak Syndrome
  • Blood Clot in Aorta
