Uses

This product is used to cover up and treat acne. It helps to decrease the number of acne pimples. It contains sulfur, a drug that is thought to work by stopping the growth of bacteria that cause acne and helping the top layer of skin to shed (keratolysis).

How to use Sulfur-Alcohol Lotion

Use this medication on the skin only. Clean the area to be treated. Shake the container well before using. Apply a thin layer of the medication to the affected area and gently rub in, usually 1 to 3 times daily as directed on the product package or as directed by your doctor. Wash your hands after using the medication. If you have any questions, ask your doctor or pharmacist.

Do not apply the medication in the eyes, nose, or mouth or on skin that is injured or irritated (for example, cut or scraped). If you do get the medication in those areas, flush with plenty of water.

Tell your doctor if your condition persists or worsens. If you think you may have a serious medical problem, seek immediate medical attention.
