Cardiovascular-There have been postmarketing reports of venous thromboembolism, including deep vein thrombosis and pulmonary embolism in patients using testosterone. Recent FDA warnings include coronary and cerebrovascular events. However, to date, epidemiologic studies and randomized controlled trials have been inconclusive for determining the risk of major adverse cardiovascular events.
