    An adult over 60:

    management or monitoring precaution: Cardiovascular-In the EPHESUS study, patients over 75 years of age with heart failure post-acute myocardial infarction did not benefit from treatment with eplerenone. Metabolic-Treated elderly have a higher incidence of drug induced hyperkalemia. Renal-Manufacturer recommends that patients with CrCL<51 mL/min. should not be treated with eplerenone.

    Giving Inspra to a child under 12:

    management or monitoring precaution: No efficacy for hypertension in pediatric studies ages 4 to 17 years.
