Why is exercise so important during menopause?

Exercise is key for everything. I mean studies have shown that women who go into menopause with 20 pounds over are at increased risk for breast cancer, increased risk for heart disease, increased risk for strokes, and therefore, if you're going to go and go through this period and you're not exercising, and you're not trying to keep your weight at what it was, you're definitely going to be at risk for a whole lot of diseases.v
