- management or monitoring precaution: Gastrointestinal-Risk for fecal impaction. Cardiovascular-Use caution in patients with CHF due to high sodium content.
Giving Haloperidol to a child under 12
- Severe Precaution: Avoid inadequate dilution or excessive dose with rectal route.
- Severe Precaution: Contraindicated by oral route and with decreased gut motility. Risk of digestive hemorrhage in very low birth weight infants.
