How will I feel after menopause?

Laura Corio, MD, Ob-Gyn
I believe that women who are going to live now until 86 years of age, that is the life expectancy for women, that it only gets better, and that they have to have an attitude spiritually, emotionally and physically that they are going to do better in the next 40 years of their lives. And they are going to. Women look great today. There are studies out there that show that the strength of a woman from exercising in her 60s can be the best ever, so I really can tell you that you don't have to look at this as a negative, you just have to get through the rocky part, and then once you get into the menopause and the hormones stabilize, you can definitely just be so creative and move forward and have a positive experience and you know, take charge of your life.
