When I first started working out, I don't think sore can really encompass what the feeling was. It was more like two seconds from death.

Be slow. Be realistic.

You may start with 2 and 1/2 pounds to five pounds.

I was always deathly afraid of the machines.

Don't be afraid to lift weights. It's actually a better fat burner than just doing the elliptical for two hours a day.

You may still be the same clothing size, but you'll see that your clothes will fit differently. And oftentimes, you'll find that they fit better.

You sleep better. I sleep so well.

SUBJECT 3
Mentally, this is like making me really strong.

It all comes from within, still. And you have to be able to self-motivate.

There's nothing more important than taking care of yourself.
