Before joining the audience development team at WebMD, Majors was the social media manager at CNN sister network HLN, where her team regularly drove 50 million Facebook video views per month. She also worked as an interactive social media producer for The Weather Channel, incorporating social users' photos and videos into the network's real-time coverage of weather events. Before moving to Atlanta, Majors spent time in production on several national television shows in New York and Los Angeles. She began her career in the trenches of NBC’s Saturday Night Live working with the show’s head writers and producers. She spent several years at Amy Poehler’s Paperkite Productions, where she helped launch Amy Poehler’s Smart Girls and worked on the show Parks and Recreation. She also worked in development at Comedy Central and was a research/interactive producer for Bravo’s nightly live talk show, Watch What Happens Live with Andy Cohen.

Majors grew up in a small town in North Carolina and earned dual degrees in journalism/mass communication and American history from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill (Go Heels!).
